SAN FRANCISCO OPERA / TOSCA / CAVARADOSSI Debuting in this show is tenor Miroslav Dvorsky, who plays Tosca’s lover Mario Cavaradossi. The tenor is well-suited for his role, and does well as the show’s romantic-painter-turned-tragic-hero. His baritone arias are warm and nurturing, splashed with humor in Act I, steadily growing in intensity as the show progresses. The Examiner, October 22, 2004
Miroslav Dvorsky’s appearance was billed as his company debut, although he had stepped in last week to sing Alfredo in Verdi’s “La Traviata” as a last-minute replacement. Dvorsky’s best moment came in his Act 3 aria, “E lucevan le stelle,” full of liquid phrases and concentrated feeling. The Chronicle, October 15, 2004
The Czech singer acted credibly, and his vocal performance improved considerably as the evening progressed; he finally redeemed himself with Act 3’s „E lucevan le stelle“, sung with alluring power and fervor. Times, October 16, 2004
In Act III, Czech tenor Miroslav Dvorsky as Cavaradossi was powerful and impassioned in „E luceval le stelle“ The Daily Californian, October 21, 2004
