As solo artists, Mirijam Contzen (violin) and Herbert Schuch (piano) have enjoyed success at the Salzburger Festspiele, the Wiener Konzerthaus, the Festspielhaus Salzburg, the Royal Festival Hall London, the Tonhalle Zürich, the Philharmonie Köln, the Lucerne Festival, the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, the Gewandhaus Leipzig, the Théâtre des Champs Élysées Paris, Suntory Hall Tokyo and Carnegie Hall New York.

The two artists released their first duo album (Zemlinsky/ Schubert/ Brahms) with Oehms Classics in 2007, receiving rave reviews. Upcoming engagements include a brief tour in February 2008 with performances February 14 at the Konzerthalle Bamberg and February 15 at Musikhalle Hamburg. Bartok/Enescu/Beethoven are on the program.
